Writing series

Some members continue their research and publish their results in scientific journals, while others prioritize sharing their knowledge with a wider audience and society at large. That is why we have several series of publications, both online and in print, and run our own publishing house.

Science festival

Every year we organize a science festival in the city of Strömstad, where our members present their research. We have local chapters in Stockholm/Uppsala, Falun, Gothenburg, Strömstad and Malmö/Lund, which regularly hold meetings both digitally and physically and conduct lecture activities in collaboration with organizations such as Rotary, the Museum of Technology and the Immigrant Institute.

Meeting place

As a meeting place and a haven for researchers and teachers/lecturers who value freedom and independence, Strömstad Academy welcomes both senior and younger members. We promote an open, critical but respectful scientific discussion where ideas can be aired and developed.
